By Route 55    If you come from Tokushima city area, turn left at Higaino crossing on Route 55. After that, you see Lupia supermarket on your left hand. The road curves to right, and you see Tokushima bank, JA(Japan Agricultural cooperative) and LAWSON convenient store. Turn left at the crossing of LAWSON. You'll cross JR Mugi line and Chitose-bashi bridge. After crossing the bridge, turn right at the first crossing with traffic signal, then you're into Nijo street. After passing game shop, soon you find Taishokan House on your right hand. Parking slots are behind Taishokan House, on the road along Kandase-gawa river. See the map below. Since Chitose-bashi bridge side of the parking slots are used for residents, please park at vacant slot in Yachiyo-bashi bridge side.

By Route 120    When you reached to the fork to Route 120 and Route 17, I recommend to proceed Route 120. When you saw Kandase-gawa river on your right hand, also you see Kyoei super market and Konan DIY shop on your left hand. The road curves to left and shortly you proceed into old downtown street, and this street is Nijo street. After passing game shop, soon you find Taishokan House on your right hand. Parking slots are behind Taishokan House, on the road along Kandase-gawa river. See the map below. Since Chitose-bashi bridge side of the parking slots are used for residents, please park at vacant slot in Yachiyo-bashi bridge side.

By JR Mugi line    The easiest way is picking up taxi at Minami-komatsushima station. (If the taxi driver doesn't know Taishokan House, try to explain like "It's the old Japanese house in front of bar Meigetsu on Nijo street". Then he(she) doesn't know, get off near Port Office shown on the map below.) But it's only around 10 minutes, if you chose walking to Taishokan House. Then, how to walk is; please see the map below. There is only one wicket in the station in north side. Raccoon dog family welcome you. There is small garden behind the raccoon dog family, and there is a fountain in the garden. So many people visit to draw spring water especially in the early evening. It prove the taste of water is good. There are cups on the fountain, please taste and quench your thirst, if you like. There are many routes to go to Taishokan House, anyway, proceed northbound and turn left or right at the end of the road. You'll reach to Chitose-bashi bridge if you turned left, and reach to Yachiyo-bashi bridge if you turned right. The way via Yachiyo-bashi bridge is a little bit shorter, but slope of this bridge is a little bit steep, to pass boats under this bridge. Please chose as you like, on the way to and way from Taishokan House. Proceed to Taishokan House via Route 120 (Nijo street) after crossing Chitose-bashi bridge or Yachiyo-bashi bridge. By the way, express trains of JR Mugi line stop at Minami-komatsushima station. The express fee is higher than the fare, because distance between Tokushima and Minami-komatsushima isn't long enough. But I recommend to use express train if you want comfortable trip. Express train isn't crowded always. Local train runs slowly, and stops at stations long time, because of the single track.

By Bus    There are some bus routes to come Taishokan House. It's comparatively easy to come the house getting off at bus stops shown below. After getting off the bus, please refer the map below to come the house. If you aren't familiar with Japanese language, I recommend to come by car, by JR express train or with your Japanese friend(s).
